bullet-point holiday update

• Cayden is bigger than Santa
• Those jeans were too long for him in September
• Avery is officially too old to sit on Santa's lap for a photo
• There's just a week left until Christmas

• This is the first year that Josie would talk to Santa
• She was allowed to bring Bear* to get the photo taken since he's been in every Santa picture since she was born
• Christmas is only seven days away

• Santa has cut back his hours this year, and doesn't come to work until 2:00 each day. What a life!
• Josie doesn't think it's unreasonable to wait FOUR hours to see Santa, if it means you get to be the first in line
• Christmas is next Sunday!!

I have no idea if I'll make it back here to update anything between now and who-knows-when, but I hope to make a point of it in the new year. Call it a resolution if you like (I won't, because that'd be jinxing it if you ask me). I hope the holidays are joyous for all of you!



*Bear has been on "house arrest" since Josie started school this year. Her reliance on him was becoming a bit dysfunctional, and he is getting more & more fragile by the day. He is only allowed to leave the house for overnight stays... and Santa pictures, apparently.
