birthday scrapbook

I am sure this will come as a huge surprise to all of you, but I take a lot of pictures of the kids and their friends.  I've been even better about it with Josie because I've seen the benefits of looking back on cute little kid pictures once those kids aren't quite so cute or little anymore.

Josie's bff Grace is turning 5 this week, and we created a scrapbook of photos as one of her gifts.  It's basically a catalog of their first two years of friendship.  It made me all sentimental to look back through all the photos and see when they really started becoming good friends.  Since they're headed off to different schools next year, it was especially bittersweet [sniff, sniff].
