school supplies
I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by the kids' school supply lists this year:

Holy carp, that is a lot of stuff. Does each child keep the stuff they buy or does it go into a box from which everyone pulls?
I think it varies by class and by supplies. Disinfectant wipes and tissues are communal; binders are personal. Not sure about the other things.
Wow. I do hope you copied and pasted that list!
Quite a list. Our district just had us write a check. Much easier :)
You'd think that if you got kids together you could negotiate a good price for all of this stuff. Certainly less expensive than each individual buying their own.
What's the collective noun for students? Ah yes! A "school".
Sigh.
P.S. Good on ya, Orinda.
